A-maze-ing Day
October 13, 2008 at 11:38 pm | Posted in Activities, Autumn | 5 CommentsYes, the post title is corny. And yes, I just threw another bad pun into the first line of this post.
Clare and I went to a corn maze today at March Farm in Bethlehem, Connecticut. It isn’t the largest corn maze in the state, but it was free. And there was an animal yard, a hayloft playscape, apple picking, hayrides, about a half-mile uphill “farm hike” to the apple orchard, and great views despite the hazy day. I told you the colors would be bright this year—with so much green left in the trees I’m not sure we’ve even reached peak color yet.
Here are a few photos. Luckily I didn’t wear Clare out so much that she couldn’t make it to her rehearsal at night. She’ll probably fall asleep during school tomorrow though.
Did anyone else have a good day off?
