I know I haven’t been too frequent with the blog updates lately.  I’m doing my best to post something two or three times a week.  Unfortunately, I’ve been spending even less time reading your blogs.  If I miss something important—like a new kid or the toddler goes off to college—take it upon yourself to shoot me an email and let me know.  I do plan to catch up on the reading soon.

Somehow, despite leaving the old blog behind and not posting there for about a month, I’ve been getting more offers from advertisers and promoters than ever before.  In almost every case, I’ve turned them down.  Or they’ve turned me down when I tell them to look at the page ranking for this new site.  It doesn’t bother me though because I’m not writing this blog for attention or money.  I didn’t even submit the new address to search engines.  I’m writing the blog for Clare.  That said though, I’m pretty glad to have the rest of you along for the ride.

It’s also pretty nice to get some recognition.  Last week, I was given a monthly nod for September at the Graco Blog.  The “nod” recognizes blog posts that the blog writers think their readers should check out.  It’s also very cool that the nod comes with a gift certificate to MOO.com.

Because one good turn deserves another, I’ll point you over to the Graco Blog too.  For a corporate blog, it’s also pretty personal.  In their own words, the bloggers are “moms and dads, grandmoms and pop-pops, aunties and uncles, caregivers, soon-to-be parents and lovers of all things Baby.”  But it’s not just for parents who are still carrying babies around in buckets.  It’s just a great parenting blog.
