Blogs Are The New Family Scrapbooks

I feel like I’ve come late to daddy blogging. Like jumping into the stock market in 2000. There seem to be dozens of great blogs by dads out there now…of course there are hundreds of blogs by moms.

So why am I doing it? Do I have something new to add? Something that hasn’t been said?

I don’t know. Probably not. And I doubt it.

But here I am. If nothing else this is a record for my daughter…something more I can use to embarrass her a few years from now when she brings home a…ugh…boy.

  1. welcome to the blogosphere! I see my blog more as a kind of journal for my kids than as any addition to the blogging world. But a few people read it anyway. Just write what your heart tells you to and you’ll do great.

    I also felt like I had come late to this, as I started my blog just over a year ago. But now it feels like I’m an old-hand at it. Plus, so many blogs are abandoned after a short time, if you can keep up with yours for even a year you’ll be considered a veteran!

  6. My friend introduced me to blogging. I am probably not as old as you, seeing how i am a sophomore in high school. If anyone wants to read my blog(s) then go ahead. Advice would be helpful seeing how i never go to my parents…
